-The Ad, Entitled ‘Human Trafficking,’ Highlights Leadership Efforts Against Criminal Activities-
(Tallahassee, Fla.) – The Pam Bondi for Attorney General Campaign today announced the launch of a second statewide television advertisement to air in seven of Florida’s major media markets beginning Monday, October 6, 2014. The ad, entitled ‘Human Trafficking,’ highlights the Attorney General’s leadership efforts in fighting this criminal activity that impacts young women and children.
“Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has taken an aggressive approach in efforts to make Florida a zero tolerance state in human trafficking, forming partnerships with truckers, hoteliers and convenience store owners to identify those who may be involved in human trafficking,” said campaign manager Pablo Diaz. “General Bondi’s work also led to the formation of a 15-member Statewide Council on Human Trafficking, of which she is chair, that is bringing together business leaders, hospital personnel, law enforcement officials, and those in the fields of health, education and social services to combat this issue.”
The link to the ad may be found here, and the script is included within the release. The Honorable Pam Bondi “Human Trafficking”
:30 TV FINAL
Florida ranks 3rd nationally in calls for help for human trafficking.
Where young women and children are enslaved and abused.
I knew we needed all hands on deck.
Businesses and hospitals to spot it.
Our great law enforcement to stop it.
And tougher penalties to punish it.
We’re taking on Medicaid fraud, pill mills, gangs and more.
And I’ll fight to put human trafficking monsters where they belong – behind bars.
Pam Bondi. Our Attorney General.
